went camping with a bunch of dads this summer and decided i want kids

30 years of being staunchly opposed, and it more or less vanished after one weekend in the woods with a bunch of guys that were only there to escape the obligations they'd created for themselves and i... decided i want that

been processing it for weeks now, but i haven't talked myself out of it yet

anyone else have a change of heart about kids later in life?

I knew I wanted to be a dad for a really long time before it happened. I love being a father more than anything I've ever done, but I would never recommend it to anyone who was "on the fence"

It's one of those things that's only amazing if you really really want it and sucks for everyone involved if you don't.
