Idea: an AI that will connect with your listening history/likes and provide better recommendations and understands that when I want recommendations based off a song, I explicitly mean that and not the artists/genre. Spotify fails often when using a seed song/album that is different from a musician's normal output.

Isn’t this kind of what Pandora was trying to do with their “music DNA”? Also wonder if Spotify will try and go this route with their AI DJ.

Yeah, Pandora was early and had the same sort of flaws. I think Spotify has more licensing deals, which might be why their version feels better currently (but I haven't used Pandora in years). And I hope they do with their AI DJ!
