Events to shine on helps me- but I think everything is cyclical in life so it’s so normal to have ups and downs - me personally just getting back into shape after a few months of less motivation🙏

For me it’s building habits into my daily life. I’m at the point now where I don’t even have to think about my workouts because it’s planned into my day. Motivation doesn’t come into the question

Sounds like you haven't found the right activity. It shouldn't feel like a chore that pure discipline and will-power gets you to do. It should feel like play; like recess. If you miss a day or two you can't wait to get back to it. I'd search for something that makes you feel that way.
