Realized I’ve been doing push/pull/legs workout splits for years (as opposed to upper body / lower body, etc) It’s nice because you easily hit every muscle but have to workout a full 6 times / week to hit each muscle group twice … kind of a lot and missing here and there unbalances you What are other good ones?

Fitness industry is like "bro splits suck!. Why do Chest/Tris, Back/bis, Legs, when you can do push (chest/tris?), pull (back/bis?), and legs!" I dunno, they're all basically the same to me, with very subtle differences. they all have the same exercises and same *general* structure. I was upper/lower guy for over a decade but now I'm on team bro-split. It just feels so much better to me, no more achy joints, workout focus, etc I also enjoyed Arnold split (especially if you want arm focus for a few cycles), ppl is nice if you want to be in the gym a lot, upper lower is basic but upper days can be kind of brutal. I like Steve Shaw's take on ULs, the Upper/Posterior (take back work from upper and put it on your "posterior" days with legs/deads. Really doesn't matter in the long run.
