To reduce the sheer volume of mass degen unlocking at same time, I suggest giving the user a slider control, with longer times being a dynamic multiplier 1 mo minimum: base rate each month gives a multiplier boost, up to 2yr - ability to add to lock to "top up" as more people lock - better to have daily granular stops

How about instead of locking things, the rewards increase the longer you hold? Then people will be encouraged to hold longer without keeping them from exiting if they must for whatever financial reason and it would keep huge dumps from happening when things are unlocked because more people would exit at different times. Too many of us have been hurt by locked staking before. It is a terrible feeling to watch a coin crash and not be able to get out because you are locked in for a long term. I love DEGEN but I've seen lots of things that had tons of community support riding high for 3-12 months or more and then crash suddenly. It could happen here too. It's not fun to be exit liquidity for others.

Long game for me. Just please make sure you're considering two wallets attached to our FIDs, as a lot of us keep our big allocation on ledgers and not the daily-wallet we use here. So consider both, please. Also, moving forward without looking at the actual problems is something problematic imo. I would gladly prefer another season with just openrank and with everything working properly (we still have 6-10 missing tip days from openrank that are reflecting on missing points) and then an entire month to prepare ourselves than hurry with everything while our house is still kinda messy.

2 very bad assumptions here in this cast: 1. that farmers won't lockup for long timeframes 2. that farmers/bots aren't gaming this poll/survey to push short timeframes Per 1, think of how long the BLUR farmers have now been farming Blur with their NFT bots. Time, long or short, is not going to keep many from farming DEGEN. Per 2, you can easily create polls that ONLY accounts with DEGEN can vote on, why not do that?? And someone with more skin in the game should probably have more say in this yes versus a bot with a single DEGEN.

I say it depends on if those tiers that were shared yesterday are accurate? 10k, 1m, 10m? If so, 3 months. If no tiers, 1 year. Also, it seems silly to throw the baby out with the bath water here. The new system completely eliminated so many issues that this new system will have. Mainly engagement farming.

What if the next season of degen didn't have parameters published up front, but did a retroactive drop for that season. Farmers would have no idea what will qualify and what won't. Knocks everyone back to even. Yeah? Locking up tokens just pushes the dump down the road.

Echoing some similar suggestions below; allow for a variable lockup time & token amount. Give higher allowances/multipliers to those who lock up big amounts for the long term. Incentivizes people with skin in the game to keep a healthy Gini coefficient with their tipping, while giving them the most power to do so.
