For June tipping, we're updating the algo to use social graph data instead of just engagement data. You still need 10k $DEGEN in your wallet, but no minimum posts are required. Rankings drop if you don't tip at least 5 times in the last 7 days. The algo will be updated on Tuesday.

We'll have a total daily tip allowance of 5 million, with the majority distributed to top-ranking users following an exponential decay curve.

Aside from a few handfuls, most of the top couple hundred are strictly PG and LP group spam fests. Giving them larger allowances just means more cannons and guns fired and the cycle continues. Unless the new algo will change the rankings from how they are? My engagement has been solid yet I drop 100-150 ranks daily

I would like to delve deeper into this part. As it reads, it seems to incentivize once again the race for engagement based on "like, recast, and follow for an amazing raffle".

Is there a reason why decay is not more linear or even logarithmic, benefitting a wider tipper base rather than consolidating powers to the top ranks? Just curiousβ¦

Many of those top ranking users are engagement farmers, would that distribution change somehow?

This is very good, but for the users who are new and actually put less casts and their posts are less, it will not be difficult for them to work in this way.
