Crazy that the cost to transact on L2 right now is ~$1.

I know 4844 will change this very soon but feel like the vision being sold for L2 was "free and instant" and we're already starting to see fees become a meaningful blocker prior to a real bull market starting.

Praying we don't run back outrageous tx fees again.

Yeah, I think L2s will have to switch to Celestia, EigenDA for Data Availability this cycle. 
I dont think ETH blobs are gonna do it in terms of cost reduction. I know there are security tradeoffs so most simply wont do it unfortunately.
