I’ll repeat this 1000 more times: consumer social apps in 2023 require a mobile-first experience. The last time desktop-first worked was in 2010.

Agree. Mobile apps are necessary, but not sufficient for some segment of the market. For other segments of the market, desktop or web apps or progressive web apps for mobile are necessary. The vibe I get from you is that you think mobile apps are both necessary and also sufficient.
