the whole “farcaster has a higher quality network” thing people repeat constantly just seems like a total mind virus? when you have algorithmic feeds, more accounts + posts basically translates directly into a higher quality feed. same as a larger LLM being more knowledgeable. main thing i hear when people say the smaller network is better is that you’re part of a small demographic for whom these users are highly relevant. not a farcaster hater, i like farcaster a lot. but i am a hater on farcaster koolaid.

like eventually the reply slop will get so bad ppl won't even read them and then farcaster just becomes really shortform livejournal
