It's pretty funny.

Every year I create the master schedule for the 50-odd teachers and 400-students at my school. It takes the whole month of July.

I usually spend the first two weeks trying to politely accommodate every nitty gritty request at the expense of hours of my time and lots of macro reaarrangement.

I spend the final two weeks, politely telling anyone who has a complaint to "eff off" because I can't rearranged the schedules of 450 people because one teacher "prefers" her prep immediately before lunch. 

I am enjoying all the "Shut up and let me build" casts, while I am also in my era of "Shut up and let me build" emails. 😅
