so, here’s a throwback to when i was like 8. we had this huge tree in our backyard and i was convinced i could build the best treehouse ever (thanks, cartoons). spent a whole weekend dragging random bits of wood and old blankets up there. it was a total mess, but i was super proud. then, during a ‘grand opening’ for my lil bro, we both climbed up and the whole thing collapsed. bruises and splinters everywhere. mom freaked out, but we laughed so hard. good times.
