What is it that is driving your research in this area?

Studying for Masters entrance exam (for Art Studies major), there’s a nationwide exam we have to take and based on our rank we can choose what and where to enroll. Mythology (Mesopotamian, Iranian, Egyptian, Indian, Greek) is part of the subjects I have to cover.

I feel like I really need to dive deeper into art, its movements, and the philosophies behind them—stuff we didn’t really cover in architecture school. I’m also super interested in art criticism, literary criticism, literature, and mythology—they give such cool insights into understanding art, stories, and culture. I’d love to work as a curator one day, which means building a solid foundation in art knowledge, and I’m trying to work on that now.

The exam I’m taking is mainly a way to set a clear goal and structure my studies. If I get into a good university, that would be amazing, because it’d let me approach art more academically and really dig into specialized art studies. I hope to cover all the key topics in time, but I also see this as just the start of a bigger journey to grow and apply what I’ve learned.
