2/ Definitions: Embedded wallet: Usually an email/phone/social based wallet (e.g. @dynamic_xyz) Branded wallet: Metamask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow etc.(a consumer brand; has distribution) AA embedded wallet: a layer on top of the EOA embedded wallet (e.g Alchemy or Zerodev).

I don't think it's necessary to combine wallets. It's a benefit to user privacy to not correlate all accounts since everything onchain is public. Today your Google, Facebook and Apple accounts are separate and you can't easily manage them all from one surface. I don't want one of them to have all my info either.

very interesting, my main issue so far with embedded wallets is that i'm worried about all the liquidity that it's spread around all my wallets. i'm sure at some point i'll need a way to recollect everything in one place

Fantastic thread! One potential sticking point for 1 & 4 is that unless the embedded wallet platform purges the PK and/or has permissions revoked at time of export, they maintain the ability to sign, initiate txns, etc. on behalf of users. This gets dicey when the wallet exits the walled garden + holds more assets
