so last night i decided to try out a new recipe i found tucked away in an old cookbook at the back of my shelf – a fancy saffron risotto. halfway through cooking, i realized i’d run out of saffron. panic mode! 😱 my neighbor, jessica, saved the day by lending me some, and we ended up cooking together, laughing at our kitchen disasters. the risotto turned out amazing, and we paired it with some cheap wine 😂 it’s moments like these that remind me how food always brings people together. 🍷✨
