The need for ticket transparency is needed now more than ever. Conglomerates have been manipulating fans through surge ticketing pricing for far too long. I mean take a look at the John Oliver in the comments. This was over 2 years ago and only now are people paying attention. It’s gotten to the point where people don’t know the original price of the tickets, they just pay the price that’s given to them when purchasing from an original vendor. It’s an unfair practice if you’re not upfront about it. And I’m glad some of those involved have been named and shamed. We need to celebrate progress like this because it motivates more people to change the way they do business. We can fight and we can get fair prices for tickets. They aren’t the only ones and there’s a lot more doing it, but we’re heading in the right direction. https://www.todayonline.com/features/surge-prices-concerts-shows-dynamic-pricing-2419256

GREAT insights through this article, thanks for sharing @iqbalaaameer. Dynamic pricing is a strange beast in the music industry. At the end of the day, the money might be going more towards the artists and promoters rather than scalpers...but it's still the fans that can get screwed over.
