What is a Bitcoin Faucet?
A Bitcoin faucet is a simple website, usually consisting of one or more pages, that distributes small amounts of cryptocurrency (e.g., Bitcoin satoshis) to users. These sites are primarily advertising platforms.
Using a faucet is free, and registration is often not required. Users simply provide their email address and Bitcoin wallet address to receive funds. Then, they perform a simple action, wait a while, and earn Bitcoin.
Faucets are generally divided into two types:
šµ Stealth faucets: Rewards are paid at specific intervals. The period varies between platforms, ranging from 1 minute to 1 day. The longer the interval, the less frequent the payments are in 24 hours.
šµ Cumulative faucets: The reward amount increases continuously, even when the site is closed or the computer is turned off. After a set interval, the accumulated amount is credited to the user's account, and the counter is reset to zero.
