Hmm.. @v or team, 

Are Rewards not updating for some folks? My score has remained the exact same since last night. I took a 2 screenshots this AM & PM... (I exited the app and checked). 

I don't want to be a complainoor, but my competitive streak prevails.

same problem here, first time paying attention to the rewards thing so i was wondering this too.

ahhh... last week was my first week paying attention. It seems to update every hour or so in the last days.

Probably just lagging behind, I believe mine is the same but can’t recall where I was last night exactly

Have definitely had lag time of a day or two in past weeks and then scores update

We noticed a few things that we want to address: 

- Giveaways, where people are incentivizing engagement by giving away tokens (instead of posting great content) 

- Farming, where certain accounts are acting in rings to boost other accounts (even if their content isn't unique or interesting). 

A little bit of this is OK - it's fine to give away stuff to your audience and to like things that your friends share in group chats. But we're seeing very obvious farming where the content is obviously unoriginal and getting a disproportionate number of likes from the same accounts. 

The algo this week is going to be adjusted slightly to discount engagement from obvious farming attempts. Scores may be lower in aggregate relative to last week as we make these tweaks.

I wonder if it has something to do with this. I figured things might be wonky this week.

Yeah, I wondered this too... but this behavior seems an odd way to handle it. I haven't incentivized any casts this week (so far!) ;-)

Any updates tonight for you? I got 1000 tonight from 2 mediocre casts which convinces me that 0 last night from 2 noticeably better casts was missed.

I wanna be in the cool club too and I did only 1k points score 😭

Same I feel like mine stayed the same all yesterday.

That or the algo changed a ton to limit me back due to a higher follower count

Same as mine … algos, filters and tutti frutti are inscrutable

it updates every hour, but other people are getting pts each hour so it's not 'frozen' but seeing you all post confirms to me that I was skeptical about not getting any pts for 2 casts last night

Same problem here. I pay attention closely weekly. I did end up getting a 100 pt bump...but last night 2 casts got 0 pts that normally would be around 1000 pts

My score doesn't update either, it's been the same for 24 hours

I feel that some points are counted too much and some are not counted at all
