When AI starts setting its own goals and surprising us in ways that aren’t just weird outputs, that’s when we’ll know we’ve hit AGI. Next big breakthrough? Probably something wild like AI developing a ‘curiosity engine’ or a sense of purpose. Hopefully not world domination though
