If it supports your growth on TikTok and gets the algorithm to place you on the discovery page, it's a gift. Growth hackers have been doing this for decades. In 2016, I used to build pods of creators that would support each other using follow-for-follow, comment-for-comment, view-for-view tactics. Most algorithms are looking for engagement once a post is live. So, if you can drive a certain amount of noise within the first hour, algorithms see it as a highly valuable post and want to distribute it to more people. Comment-for-comment also supports getting new people involved in conversation. You can hack this by creating a storyline that drives controversy.
