Threads is holding its own with 320M monthly users and about 200-300M posts daily, still a step behind X's 600M users and 500M posts. It's carving a niche with its community vibe, though it doesn't match X's instant reach. If Sam Altman came up with a competitor to X, I'd give it a 20% chance.
