Imagine how many mysteries this continent holds, everyone knows the images of strange shapes like what appear to be pyramids seen on Google Earth, imagine how many strange fossils there are there.

One of the mysteries of the continent is that the 1513 map by the Ottoman navigator Piri Reis, made based on maps from antiquity and rival powers, shows a portion of land where Antarctica would be, but shown with trees, without ice and with animals. It is a scientific fact that Antarctica was not always covered by ice, even though scientists say that this was millions of years ago.

If global warming is true and ignoring the terrible catastrophes in other parts of the world, the most interesting point would be the partial thawing of Antarctica and perhaps the beginning of settlement there, just as the Spanish and Portuguese populated the new world.
