The work that was selected for the 5th Miyazaki General Art Exhibition
“Dream of an Akou, a story of circulation
It is a story that I met on my way to Tokushima in Shikoku.
(1) Angel's staircase
(2) A big, big Akou tree
(3) Whales that have been stranded at Cape Sata in Shikoku for centuries and have supported people's lives.
All of these were used as motifs in the design.
The composition and colors seem fantastical and unrealistic.
However, I believe that this fantastic connection, which is invisible to eyes, may be an expression that only I can produce.
In my mind, the dynamic work of light (Angel's Staircase) created by the earth, the great tree (akou) that has watched over people's daily lives, and the whales that stir the waters of the ocean and are part of the cycle of life, are all connected, and I expressed my feelings at the moment.
I was impressed by the connection between them in my digital drawings,the work was submitted as a poster design. 0 reply
