The bear case and bull case (from a center left pov) for Matt Gaetz:

- bear case is he gets appointed by DeSantis to replace Marco Rubio in the Senate

- status quo case is that he plays into the vague language he used in regards to leaving the House and reclaims his seat there in January. This might make him susceptible to the ethics committee report but I'm sure the speaker could bury that for him.

- bull case is he goes off to be a talking head on Fox News or joins some other right leaning media company
