when do we think 4TB will be absolutely necessary? seeing more EL clients implement pruning - between this and checkpoint sync on CL are we good on 2TB for a while longer?

Using Besu/Nimbus on a separate SSD from the OS, and I’m at 77% drive use and climbing. That’s already with self-pruning. It will get slightly worse with 18 days worth of blobs coming. I do anticipate having to upgrade before the end of this year.

It's really hard to tell especially with potential EIPs that might reduce disk space need or with things like restaking that might need more disk space if you want to get into that. Anyone on 2 TB should be good for at least 1 or 2 years at which point predicting even further is mostly pointless.

I expect my 2 TB to fill up by the end of August, based on projecting current growth
