it baffles me that macbooks still don't have 5G receivers why do i need to use my phone as a hotspot?

Right? It seems like such an obvious feature to include, especially when so many devices are moving toward built-in 5G. Having to rely on a phone hotspot feels like an unnecessary extra step in this day and age. Do you think Apple is just behind on this, or is there a strategy behind leaving 5G out of MacBooks?
