Currently we sanitize to http or https. Will expand to support other safe protocols over time.

Hm, for some reason direct ipfs links “ipfs://gBh…” don’t redirect…Seems to be Warpcast issue…

@v is there limit to https redirect only?

Seems to have worked; Piñata 🪅 link works, but direct link doesn’t. Can I type the CID somewhere?

What’s your stack? What API / IPFS host are you using?

And since I’m too lazy to go look, do you know if attachments in Farcaster are stored in Hubs, or only by reference?

Yeah, file uploads would be baddas! Need to ping V. But using what’s available atm!

Just thought: file upload could also be done by custom client…and then it sends the link…
