Sell in may and go away comes from the fact that a lot of big fund managers spend their summers in Aspen and Hamptons so not as much activity comparing to rest of the year.

Crypto is not dominated by big funds (yet) comparing to tradFi

I don’t think it will be like gold etf. People don’t FOMO into gold but there will be a lot of amateurs crypto gamblers jumping in toward the end of the cycle, that’s why we have blow off tops that’s not sustainable. And a lot of vaporware and scams that will pop the bubble at some point

What do you think about the timing of this cycle? Will it resemble previous cycles, about four years long? Or will ETFs and the end of high rates give us several years of uptrend, similar to what gold experienced after its ETF launch?

ATH of the cycle? 6-12 months sounds reasonable but I don’t have set date to close all my positions. It will be based on sentiment. When everyone and their grandma (who has never traded crypto) is bullish, that’s when I take profit
