For back (which can present in shoulder or arm) i’ve found movements that can decompress spine, like hanging or pilates roll downs can help.

Afaik that usually that comes from compression in area around spine where nerve comes out.  Half the time when i have that pain and roll down, i’ll feel little pop that releases and in a day i’m good.
