Hmm. Wondering if I should stop watching 3 body problem and read the books? The concepts/ideas in the show are really fascinating and I imagine they are explored more deeply in print. But how is the writing (or rather, translation)? Worth it or no?

The basics outlines of the plot and the science are the same, but characters, dialogue and timelines are kind of mishmashed in the TV series . I've only read book one, I can't say it was GREAT.Writing is matter of fact, not really worth it. I'm 3 episodes into series and wondering if I should just stop and read book2.

Overall they seem like pretty different stories and characters, even if outline is the same.

I can't say the concepts/science are explored all that deeply in books, maybe a bit on folding reality into different dimensions, but honestly, it's make-believe anyhow, so to me kind of irrelevant. My biq quesions still is: has anyone actually had evidence of these aliens and what is evidence in this context?
