I love how unique the EF is, which makes Ethereum unique. I love the builder-friendly environment the EF established. I love the community the EF helped cultivate. In Aya’s 2020 year letter, she introduced the inspiring book Finite and Infinite Games and quoted one of them: “The finite player aims to win eternal life; the infinite player aims for eternal birth.” It manifested the EF’s mission and encouraged EFers to think long. It inspired us to think more about what we can do in our limited lives. The EF's uniqueness lies in its core values: neutrality, decentralization, and global community empowerment. To fulfill its mission, its culture remains rooted in long-term thinking. The EF is blessed to have Aya lead us toward these values. THANK YOU, @ayamiya! ❤️

Ethereum Foundation Treasury Update The Ethereum Foundation (@ethereumfndn) has set up a new 3-of-5 multisig wallet. The wallet address is 0x9fC3dc011b461664c835F2527fffb1169b3C213e An operation has been initiated to send 50,000 ETH there, but be patient; due to signing delays, this will take a few days to process (https://etherscan.io/tx/0x6872c97c571e26c6c1dc18999fd116a67ce23cefdecf1cfcf6fb58899ba7f4d7) The EF will use this new wallet to participate in the DeFi ecosystem. We've made a test tx on Aave. Stay tuned! Also, Safe has proven safe and has a great user experience, and we will transfer more of our funds here over time! #helloworldcomputer

PSA: I joined the Ethereum Foundation Leadership Team last week. I joined the EF Research team in mid-2017, starting by contributing to the early sharding proof-of-concept. Over the years, my focus has been on L1 R&D, and that will remain my core area defense. I'm also passionate about Ethereum community building and enjoy bridging core research with the broader community. The new @ethereumfndn handle is the beginning of the EF establishing more transparent communication channels. I’m excited to collaborate more closely with Aya Miyaguchi @ayamiya, Josh Stark @0xstark.eth, and Bastian Aue, and to dedicate myself to contributing to EF Leadership. My specific remit within EF Leadership hasn’t been defined yet, but as my role becomes clearer, I’ll share more details about my responsibilities. [1/2]
