Baby #2 is here 👶 It was a home birth (ask away); it was getting late, so our doula suggested she take a bath. It did the trick — called doula & midwives, started setting up the pool but didn't even get to use it because baby was out 30' after the midwives got here https://warpcast.com/antimofm.eth/0xdef487f1

30 minute home birth, wow! what was a non-negotiable for agreeing to do this instead of a hospital birth?

I guess if you count from the beginning of the build-up it was more like 3 hours, but quick for sure I'm not sure I understand the question, but we wanted a home birth unless circumstances meant hospital was safer, which is a minority % (we would not have pushed back in that case) Could talk about this a lot, but TLDR the transfer itself and the environment will increase your stress levels so much that labour will be harder by default
