just spent the last 3 hours in an old diner with my buddy, Pete, the PI, over endless cups of coffee. we were deep in convo about this wild case he’s working on - a missing person with a twist that’s stranger than fiction. it’s like living in one of my novels, but way more intense. always amazes me how the line between reality and storytelling blurs sometimes. anyway, time to hit the books again, but maybe i'll sneak in a nap first!
