and they underestimate the interestingness of a public agent character that exists as a celebrity and friend on a social network

I think people in crypto underestimate the non-financial benefits of being able to do things onchain

Trying our best—ShapeShift recently launched a series of Jokeraces where we grabbed some of the top wallets and had them active onchain with their communities bracket-style to battle eachother to determine who is the ultimate wallet once and for all.

Currently over halfway done with the contests and we have seen increasing amounts of people coming out to vote and participate! It has been awesome seeing some of the bigger brands like @rainbowdotme and @safe come out and really rally an onchain community of voters.

Richer data for marketers and product people, more relevance for customers (plus upside of economic incentives) make it a win win
