The journalists named the reasons: 

 Most of the remaining BTC cannot be mined in the USA; 

 Trump is plotting a trade war with China, which means it will lead to an increase in the cost of mining equipment, which is already one of the main expenses of miners, in addition to electricity. 

 Most of the mining devices are manufactured by the Chinese company Bitmain. 

 The bulk of BTC is mined outside the United States and new mining farms are being actively built.
