is there any form of persistent storage with frames v2? ie: if a user has the frame downloaded, can you save some data to the user's device/app

Yes. There’s no Farcaster specific API but since frames are webpages you can use the same persistent storage you’d use in the browser, like cookies/localstorage/IndexedDB.

thanks! IF you guys did implement an even more persistent form of storage at the app level… it really would make for an amazing place to host a dapp — could encrypt the user’s sensitive info and have it locally stored, avoid external DBs, etc. currently there’s nowhere to easily make a local-first dapp
