I think I agree with Sanjay on handling my eccentric uncle's inheritance. 1. High confidence L1 ETH works and has value in 10 years. 2. Low confidence any defi contract I pick today will be in use in 2034. Two parts to 2: 2a. Does the contract work? 2b. Is the protocol active? Higher confidence in 2a than 2b.

If I absolutely had to /dosomething I think I agree with @spengrah.eth. Use an autonomous interest rate protocol, accept that rates might go to zero, and be happy with whatever I get. But there are very few autonomous systems I can use and forget about for 10 years. https://warpcast.com/spengrah.eth/0x59df990e

Third web has a few of them. Open Zeppelin has a lot. If the contracts and deployed on L2's they have been properly translated and audited to the highest standards. In fact... furthermore "defi" contracts as well if they proxy from the base infrastructure. Builders from L2's and "defi" have major contributions to L1
