A place for talking about the Ethereum Virtual Machine on Farcaster.

We're exploring using the delegate.xyz registry as an onchain source for verifications (i.e. linked addresses on Farcaster). This is a nicer workflow for some smart contract cases than EIP-1271, though we'll probably support both. Anyone have thoughts or strong opinions?

A little over 4% of verified addresses. 9162 verifications, 368 using the v1 registry and 13 using v2.

Also curious how many linked addresses already use Delegate. (Place your bets, I'm pulling the data right now).

if it makes you feel any better, while we were speccing this I confidently told @sanjay "I don't think this will work at all" and he politely pointed out that you're supposed to delegate in the other direction

delegate always makes me feel dumb in one way or another - by which i mean im never sure i’ve set it up correctly

I like it, wondering if there's an EAS schema that can use Delegate...
