I expect @anoncast will approach the same end state as channel moderation. Even with good tools, nobody wants to sort through a pile of unfiltered garbage to pick out the good stuff, especially when you can just use the distribution to pump your own bags instead. The problem is harder without identity.

Theory was people would be incentivized to moderate based on holdings, assuming price action correlates with the account's content/engagement. To be seen if true, might not work (as seen with token shilling going on right now)

Qualified Anonymity = Quality Assurance? Using Zk to gate by credentials (eg, Neynar score) could help as a non-monetary top-level filter while preserving anonymity.

real problem might not even be identity or moderation—it’s the assumption that all content deserves discovery. Maybe anon platforms work best when they don’t optimize for surfacing ‘good stuff’ but instead lean fully into ephemerality, letting bad and good disappear equally fast. IE, it's a river and people choose how it flows. idk.

There is a collective responsibility to maintain a brand, and not stray too close to any extreme, regardless of how anonymous it is. That's a tough balance.but necessary.

now, you'll have 333 reply bois not getting what you hint at here—which is utterly possible to build with all of these legos and intermediary packages— but would think you are a panoption-maniac gestapo.

True lack of identity makes curation harder and incentives often shift toward self promotion over quality moderation. Balancing these challenges will be key for platforms like @anoncast
