The most common reason for the dreaded "Image failed to load" is a frame image >10MB. If you see frames from a specific site or marketplace that fail often, ask them to serve a high quality thumbnail instead of the raw asset image. We never render these larger than about 600x600px.

i think open graph maxes out at 8mb and recommends <5mb. ppl can/should also manually upload their own compressed thumbnail in sites like zora if they have large files :) that way they can control the quality of the thumbnail if they worry about how it will look in frame

Is optimal size listed in the documentation, I don’t have it infront of me but think it says 1146x1146, listing max size is good but listing optimal sizes set users up for success
