Why is @mazmhussain here, but not Jeremy Scahill? Why is @bryanjohnson here, but not Andrew Huberman? Why is @vgr here, but not Tyler Cowen? ("They knew someone here" is a fine answer, but more interested in why they stuck around)

Bryan is building a cult that needs loyal foot soldiers. This seems like a great place to find those lol. Huberman isn’t making his own religion

my first guess is the schlep, since it may just be reaching publicists or some other headache mitigation. my second guess is the package, since there's a solid chance that they're not interacting with twitter in a way that would make manual farcaster appealing otherwise, maybe just absence of a cheerleader effect? who are the B-listers?

Because they know someone here is also why they stuck around paradoxically. Just like having a good friend at your job is more likely to keep you there, I think the same applies here. Making a couple of good friends here is what kept me and a lot of others here. Fundamentally, it’s a social network so connection is at its core. If someone doesn’t feel that connection; I think they’re much less likely to stick around. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

I think in case with @bryanjohnson , if you follow his journey you know that he is the more experimental curious one. That would be my explanation 😊

Scahill strikes me as too much of a boomer who likes touching grass too much to manage an account on here πŸ˜…

Unironically think Michael Batnick from The Compound and Friends would be a good add here. Tradfi, passionate following, curious and honest about crypto Seems like a slam dunk
