It's been great! I had to make a few adjustments to my mental model (gas is cheap, calldata is expensive, no PUSH0), but most of those are in your favor as an application and it's pretty much like developing for mainnet. The superchain teams maintain useful tools too, like op-viem and packages in the OP monorepo.
