Question 1. Part 2. My second job was my first job in finance. I was hired to research the use of neural networks in trading. I did write a derivatives basket pricing optimiser, but the business lost interest. I was out of a job but I met the head of funds management marketing who put me on the grad program at 26 and also gave me a project to try to get data out of the mainframe finance system into a sql database. I successfully wrote that system single handledly which then leads to the next question I got.
