Why does uniswap have a send feature? Isn't a wallet a better place for this to be?

Does anyone know the volume they have on it? Can't check it onchain :(

Sending via Uniswap feels safer to you than sending via your own wallet? Don't you trust your wallet already tho?

because we trust uniswap already and are familiar with going there for tokens. It's like with NFTs most use OpenSea for tranfers instead of wallet directly because that feels safer than pure in wallet stuff or on etherscan
