my very limited take on which L2 is superior right now... Matic & it isn't even close. 

I can buy Matic on a dex without having to switch chains.

speaking of, switching chains to transact (as minor as it may seem) is a huge switching cost & I don't know how many people realize this.

Been agonizing over this myself. From a market share perspective, obviously MATIC is big but ironically most CEXes won't let you off-ramp onto Polygon (or the others, for that matter).
