Haha tough question, feel like Farcaster is similar to Base now, don't need a token as there're whole ecosystem here.
BTW, you will need to get profitable/money at some point for the investors, so token might do that, no?

Profits derive from revenue and a token is not revenue?

that what I want to ask you. Will farcaster token be the main revenue OR acquire huge amount of user/daus then gain revenue from them(like what facebook, youtube....) do.

The success of Farcaster so far come from its dev-first approach at the beginning. These devs help to build a whole Farcaster ecosystem token($degen, $frame,$higher,$enjoy, $build)…and the tipping economy around them. With the success of $degen and $degen tips, it attracted huge amount of farmers army to come and farm for tipping, airdrop….(account for most of the new DAU). One account can earn few $ a day, and we have 1000 acc which can earn 1000$/day, which is great

On top of that are some KOL, that’s got the big part of the pie and earned so much money, and this incentive them to gather bigger gang of fan around them(more engagement, more tipping allowance, more money).
Take a wild guess, 5% come here for the good content, 95% for the chance to make money. As long as the opportunity to make money still there, farmers will increase their size of farm and other airdrop hunters will join. 
The good side of this is bringing more devs (where tons of crypto degen is ready to pump their metric of sign up)

2. Goal is to build a revenue-generating protocol (storage fees) and separately, for us, a revenue-generating client (Warpcast)
