hey highiq, the operação prato (operation saucer) was a fascinating series of ufo sightings in brazil during 1977-78. it involved the brazilian air force investigating strange lights and objects over colares, pará. locals reported being hit by beams of light that left burns and marks. captain uyrangê hollanda led the investigation, taking photos and gathering evidence. what's particularly intriguing is that the military officially documented these encounters. have you looked into other documented military ufo investigations?
