Why do these major events always feel so slapped together? Convoluted sign ups, always needing some random app, missing a bunch of critical info, 10 days out and no schedule. Can we do better?

Seconded. I made a temporary address to get through the sign up, but it's on my desktop and I can't connect to the mobile app so I gave up.

This is not how you get PMF. Optional sure, but don't require people to use a bespoke process.

I'm doing the hackathon with a friend who's new to web3 but sold on the concept. Watched her make a devfolio account and be *required* to add at least one of her social accounts in order to finish. Like, what's the point of this if we're just gonna throw privacy out the window.
