This poem, written in Spanish, explores the inner turmoil of breaking free from a toxic love that clings to the heart like a tumor. The poetic voice reflects on the pain and determination required to sever ties with a destructive relationship, comparing the departure to closing the door on an emotional cancer. Despite the efforts to forget, memories persist, and the question of why the other person insists on maintaining the bond echoes with despair. The final release is depicted through the imagery of love soaring like a bird, freeing itself from the toxic prison and finding liberation in distance, yet still delirious in its dreams of the love it once held.
