We're working on that (TM) -- it's obviously super important - we want to make sure we enable this in a way that's accretive to both the user and the developer. 

We never want to get in the way of developer craft and product journey, but we also want to make sure we enable users to really get all the benefits of self-custody. s/o to @wilsoncusack also building great stuff there

How do i find all my privy wallets if i don’t remember how i logged in for all the apps?

(for user facing vs infra) Focus on users and jtbd 

Crypto does not magically make all of the rules of product building disappear-it supercharges products

Put urself in the shoes of your target (crypto native or ow)understand why they want the product. 

If you have to suspend disbelief -- go back to 1st principles.

We're pretty impatient people: build for the long term but look for short term results to make sure we're headed in the right direction. 

@0xasta always says: "Quality. Scope. Speed. Pick 2." We always cut scope. From there we gauge progress against startups we look up to, crypto or otherwise.

We go to them -- no matter who. We need to earn our right to exist every day.

How did you model your goals and playbook? Lots of folks in crypto are trying old methods - curious if you did the same or did something different!

It takes a ton of time -- I think we're a nuanced, passionate bunch and we are pretty intense. So a lot of that is finding people who are crypto curious but also willing to question things and how we can do better (starting with ourselves) and who really really care about craft.

How do you and Privy team think about hiring? Everyone I've met there is awesome so would love to know your process and culture around hiring

High level -- flexible session keys on EOAs and gas sponsorship being really built out!

Concretely -- we built a swanky demo of EOA based subscriptions a few months ago -- its a major update to how you can do subscriptions on base and a very resonant, concrete show of why protocol changes matter!

Very excited for 7702 -- waiting to see it play out cross chain

What is the most exciting, earliest feature we'll see from Privy's roadmap that is only unlocked after the Pectra upgrade? I'm biased and most interested in the EIP-7702 component... but don't want to bias the answer so framing the question more broadly : )

mmmh. great q. side note is AA has unfortunately been overused -- we meet folks who talk of crypto as AA, for me it generally means 4337 even though 7702 is also AA 🤷 

so taking the general stance that it means the account is distinct from the key that controls it -- 
- I still think being able to onboard anyone to distributed systems no matter how much or little they know about crypto is pretty underrated. 
- I think cross app account usage, whilst technically so fucking hard, will be solved and amazing -- @b3dotfun @abstractchain yuga are examples of amazing teams we work with pushing here

Are there any under appreciated benefits of account abstraction that you're excited about for Privy and/or general wallet UX?

Working on @beliefs - most customizable launchpad on Base.Coding FC related stuff.Occasionally trading.Figuring out how to fix my sleep schedule.

No -- we knew we wanted to go to Solana for a long time.

We have a v high bar for what we consider delight on a given chain (includes webhooks for state changes, broadcasting to chain, policies that are chain aware etc) -- so we want to make sure we only do something if we can do it well. A couple of teams we love (Hypeshot, Tensor, Frens) gave us the boost we needed over the summer.

Today we also provide lower level signers on curves so you have all the chains you want, and we build up chain-specific functionality from there.

Was solana implementation initially motivated by pump fun integration?

I think both are a tiny bit reductive --> more accessible, open financial rails globally with stablecoins. Dynamic, hyper-reflexive incentive networks with casino. 

Ultimately, both excite me in different ways and I have a real belief that public state on the web, transparent, verifiable, accessible to all will spawn 100 more use cases i can't dream of.

To quote P Collison -- defensibility is overrated, execution is underrated. I have a lot of thoughts here, but none matter if we are not delivering flexible, secure tooling for the customers we serve. 

Chain support (and the depth there) is driven by the customers we work with -- we only ever build for them.

How do you select chains to support?

Boring but good advice, not mine: write code, talk to users.

Honest take is i think both are necessary -- native teaches us how to use the tech, mainstream teaches us how to bring it to everyone. 

If we only do native -- great tech no one uses
If we only do mainstream -- what was all this for

We need both

Most of what we do today is building inside out. We start out as a crypto native project and then try to onboard and redpill outsiders. 

What if we invert this?

honest answer: having 2 kids and feeling like i'm present at work and home. Honestly 0 tips there yet -- i guess compartmentalization and trying to be present when not working. 

Beyond that, I honestly don't look at token prices ever. I kind of made a vow that this was a decades long investment when I started in the space, so sticking to that
