Passkey login can feel magical and provides a great combo of convenience and secuirty. While they can still break across devices, passkeys have come a long way since we launched support last spring.

Now users can sign up with passkeys (without linking another login method)!

3/ We’re excited to give developers more room to experiment with passkeys.

To enable this new feature, head to the Login Methods section of your Privy dashboard, and select 'Enable passkeys for signup'.

We can't wait to see what you build!

2/ Passkeys (biometrics like FaceID / TouchID) take <1s to set up and are a great MFA method. They also make logging in to an existing account magical!

Today, we enable signing up with passkeys directly as developers continue to test out new UX patterns.

Passkey login combines convenience and security, offering a seamless experience. While cross-device compatibility isn't perfect yet, the progress since last spring shows promising improvements. A step closer to password-free future.@henri
